Internet-based photo-sharing application, Instagram has launched face filters in the month of May for posts and direct messages, and the application is expanding it by giving access to live streaming as well, competing with its rival, Snapchat. From Thursday onwards, Instagram users will be able to use various face filters while live streaming.
While launching this feature, Instagram stated that the users can tap on the face icon on the bottom right corner before or during the live stream. Moreover, users can also switch between all the filters, and the company has some cool sunglasses filter just for live video.
Apart from using filters, users can also share their face filter live video to stories once the broadcast is completed since Instagram added the ability to do that a few months ago, or they can also have the option to “Discard” it if they want the video to disappear completely. The new feature is already launched and should reach all users in the upcoming weeks.
