After listening to the rumors, we concluded that Huawei manufactured Honor is not trying to compete or battle the iPhone X or Galaxy S8 with its latest phone, Honor 7X is eyeing on those customers who don’t want to spend the cash on elite handsets, but still want some good and reliable device at that price with the classy look. The new Honor device is priced at approximately ₹16,850.

This new device includes, metal unibody looks and feels quite solid when you hold it or when your friend sees it. The matte black finish also offers a decent grip. Button placement is quite good and all the ports are situated at the bottom for easy use. Honor has kept the 3.5mm headphone socket, which is updated, but it’s a bit disappointing to not provide a Type-C port. The 18:9 aspect display pretty much dominates the entire front of the smartphone. It looks great, but at 5.93 inches, it’s not easy to reach all the corners of the screen due to its wide range when using it with one hand. The display seems sharp, its full-HD+ resolution, and colors seem punchy.

Honor does pretty much everything right with this new 7X device. It looks like a much more expensive phone than it is. The handset has a headphone jack and offers a choice of dual-SIM or expandable memory. The 18:9 screen is great to use but with two hands, and most apps work quite good when forced to fill it. Battery life is good and cameras are acceptable, but not excellent.
