Facebook has launched a new feature in India that allows users to top up their prepaid mobile connections by using the same applications but currently, this feature is only available on Facebook’s Android application and that too for prepaid users.
Brian Acton posted a tweet, mentioning that his followers should delete the Facebook application. He quoted “It is time, #deletefacebook”. Later in 2014, Facebook acquired WhatsApp for $16 billion and made its co-founders, Jan Koum and Brian Acton a wealthy person.
Facebook is planning to experiment a new feature in its existing app where it will provide brief information about city-specific local news, events, and announcements available on its platform. The company is providing their services in cities like New Orleans, Little Rock, Billings, Peoria, Olympia, and Binghampton.
