Instagram and Snapchat both have removed their Giphy sticker feature after a user discovered a racist GIF could be added to story posts. According to the terms of services, users are not allowed to post content that is abusive, obscene, offensive, or vulgar.
Instagram will now start showing users when their friends are online or were last active on the network in the Direct Messages option. This is similar to ‘Last Seen’ on WhatsApp and ‘Active at’ on Facebook Messenger. it’s also testing a new ‘Type’ feature that enables text-only, written Stories on the mobile app.
